I was scoping BMWs at the Half Price Sale at a local self-service wrecking yard on Thanksgiving weekend, looking for a good long battery cable from a trunk-mounted-battery model (so's I could get the race car rigged with the battery cutoff switch now mandated by 24 Hours Of LeMons rules), and something about this one jumped out at me. Hey, that engine has way more cylinders than most! Yes, it's a BMW V12, and it was working well enough to drive the car to its final wreck. Someone needs to put this powerplant in a Chevy Nova!
